August 4, 2010  |  Celect™ is proud to announce a partnership with the Sigma Alpha Mu Foundation to provide a custom-designed website for the Foundation on the Celect Platform. The new website will enhance the Foundation's online presence and integrate with the Sigma Alpha Mu (ΣΑΜ) Fraternity website, which will also be provided by Celect.

 

"We are pleased that the Foundation decided to sign on with us as well, since this development means that we will be providing a truly comprehensive online solution for ΣΑΜ," said Mark Anderson, President and COO of Celect.

 

The Foundation will work with Celect's graphic designers to create a branded website that represents ΣΑΜ's unique characteristics as well as the Foundation's particular focus on scholarship and leadership. The Foundation provides need-based scholarships to worthy students, as well as grants for educational programs supporting leadership, professional development, and community involvement.

 

"We've decided to launch our own website in 2010 to promote the Foundation's mission and programs. The capabilities of the Celect Platform will allow the Foundation to have a site that will provide information on the Foundation's programs, recognize donors, and highlight the impact of programs on students and the public," said Aaron Girson, Executive Vice President of the Sigma Alpha Mu Foundation.

 

The Foundation will have access to all of the features that come with the Celect Platform, such as photo galleries, media uploads, and custom forms, to help showcase and further their philanthropic accomplishments. Features such as news feeds, events, and calendars will also be available to keep members informed about important Foundation developments.

June 23, 2010  |  Celect™ announced today the com­­pletion of a comprehensive service contract with Sigma Alpha Mu Fraternity (ΣΑΜ) to enhance ΣΑΜ's online presence. Celect's technology platform will allow ΣΑΜ to better manage and promote their organization by providing improved site navigation and communication tools. The agreement with ΣΑΜ also incorporates use of Celect's strategic partner Mezolink's cloud-based business solutions, which include email, web conferencing, data storage and online backup services.

 

"It's a great package of tools for us to use and it will enable us to upgrade our internal and external communications processes. Celect's system will help us with our web presence as well as make our whole administrative operation more efficient," said Leland Manders, Executive Director of Sigma Alpha Mu.

 

"We are excited to help Sigma Alpha Mu develop their online presence and expand their public outreach. We also look forward to utilizing our partnership with Mezolink to provide comprehensive cloud-based business solutions to our clients," said Mark Anderson, President and COO of Celect.

By utilizing Celect's customizable website building platform, ΣΑΜ will gain additional networking capabilities as individual chapters switch over to the Celect Platform™. As a part of Celect's innovative technology, each chapter or alumni group website will interface with ΣΑΜ's national website, allowing for greater information exchange on all levels.

 

"We were impressed with the integrative approach that we could take to chapter, alumni and national website development, and also with the ability for our organization to move to cloud computing and how it would tie together when it was all up and running," said Manders.

 

The Sigma Alpha Mu Foundation will also participate in the website and cloud computing agreement between Celect and ΣΑΜ. The Foundation provides scholarships to members and educational grants for several leadership programs. "We have a very large annual scholarship program, so it was important that we be able to incorporate our electronic scholarship application process into the new website," said Manders.

 

Representatives from Celect will be attending ΣΑΜ's national convention in Miami on August 6–8 to further introduce Celect's technology and to assist chapters' transition to the Celect Platform. Using the Celect Platform, chapters will control the majority of the content on their individual websites and incorporate members' only access features in addition to public content.

 

"This agreement will help Sigma Alpha Mu strengthen their organization in many ways, and we look forward to working with ΣΑΜ to help them accomplish all of their technological and branding goals," said Anderson.

June 8, 2010  |  Celect™ is proud to announce a national database and service contract with Alpha Omicron Pi International Women's Fraternity (ΑΟΠ). Through this agreement, Celect will utilize its industry-leading platform to enhance the organization's website and member management system. Additionally, ΑΟΠ's Foundation will be supported through Celect's patent-pending technology, enabling their fundraising and alumnae support efforts to achieve new operational capabilities and efficiencies.
